World Ten Ball Championships

Last month, from the 1st - 6th October, the world 10 ball championships was held for the first time ever, Philippines was the host for this first time event, Brunei was given two slots to join the championship, so Me(Azri Roslee) and Teo Che Soon went to Manila to join the championships, thanks to master Alim(hehe) for hotel and shirt sponsor and also thanks to Malar Setia who also chipped in to sponsor some for our ticket. It was a scary and exciting experience, World championships man, iatah scary but siok jua, Ah Soon first match was with Philippines current national champion, Marlon Monalo, The match ended with the score of 9-6 to Marlon Monalo, it was a double knock out, so ada chance dari blakang lagi, my first match was with James Delahunty from Australia, banyak mistakes and so kalah 9-3. Then Ah Soon next game on the loser side was to Hudji See from Holland, final score was 9-5. So out of tournament, My next game was against Dharminder Singh Lilly from India, played abit better but still lost 9-4 and so aku pun out of tournament. Holiday time came abit too early for me and Ah Soon after kalah 2 game. But still everyday went to venue to learn and watch the other players play their games. So hopefully next year ada chance lagi to play in these championships and hopefully can play better and win some games. Here are the pictures from Manila.Me and Ah Soon at the airport before leaving for Manila to join the World ten ball championshipsTeam Brunei with Alim(coach) and Paul(Committee) at the airport before departing for Manila Ah Soon with Charlie Williams
